Default *****Carbon Fiber berger panel v1.5*****

After 4 days and tons of sandpaper, resin and cf its about 99% done, need to finish up some of the parts under the lights and hatch but I might not since right now I dont give a damn how it looks.

First time working with real cf, IF I had to do this over I would mke some changes on how it went. Overall happy with it.

All ears, lets hear what you guys like and dislike.

That looks awesome! Did you cover you factory panel with carbon fiber or did you make it totally out of carbon fiber? How much time do you have in making it?

Just covered the factory panel, to make a new one would cost way too much and is something Im not sure im skilled enough to tackle.

But who knows, if im bored enough I might try and make a complete panel.

Like what? I think maybe a black bowtie might look good. Im not a fan of emblems to begin with tho, hence why I shaved the panel.

Edit: Ok this is something I would put on my panel.

I think that new onyx emblem would look awesome on the carbon fiber.

Its bumpy from the resin being high and low, need to sand it down and polish it out then it will look like the face.

Should have done something smaller for my first time but oh well.

Haha! I can relate! Very labor intensive. Looks really good though. I agree about needing something in the middle but the CF work looks very, very good. Nice job on keeping the weave lines!

Ah I was waiting for this! Looks great man. I agree, the middle of the panel needs something... however I can't decide what.

Either simple vinyl lettering, or the Z28 emblem gets my vote.

EDIT: looking at it again.. leave it alone lol. Less is more in this instance
