Houston F-Body Meetup - 11/5/11 A few of us on ThirdGen.org are organizing a Meetup for F-Body owners next Saturday at Pappas Burger on Westheimer Road.
The event was originally intended to get ThirdGen F-Body owners together, but it has now branched out to include all of the generations. After all, what kind of world are we living in if one F-Body owner can't appreciate another's ride?

The link will take you to a poll about what time the event should start and whether or not a cruise should be part of it. Please take part in the poll and express your opinions.
This event has also been posted on WHM, Firebird Nation, NFTAC, CamaroZone, and Houston F-Body.org.
Next week, a roll call thread will be started here. If you are interested in attending, please click on the link and look for the thread.
Previous attempts to start a local F-Body club have not been very successful. Maybe this time we can get something going.

Damn! I'm going to put a fuel pump in my third gen this weekend
Hopefully that's all it needs and I might be able to get it road worthy in time to come out to this

If you run into problems with your '91 (I wound up swapping out my fuel injectors along with my fuel pump -- Southbay is a company that offers great prices on remanned injectors), bring your '99. It doesn't matter if it's not a 3rd Gen...it just needs to be an F-Body!

The 91 is up for a 6.0 swap, so if its anything more than the fuel pump it's just going to sit lol. The 99 is in the middle of a motor swap, so its out of the question for now. I've gotta get the 91 tagged and inspected etc too, but that shouldn't be a problem

Other people on other forums are having potential issues with getting their rides ready too. I've told them show up anyway...it's more important to have interested members there. Their rides can always be made ready for the next meet.
