Default LS1 crank in an LS3 block?

Been 2 years since ive been down and starting to get some things together...

I got a good deal on a LS3 block so wondering if i can use my LS1 crank in it and just buy the forged rods and pistons?

Yes sir, that will work! Make sure you balance the assembly, as always. Also, you'll need to run the LS2 timing set with the 1X cam reluctor so your PCM will run it properly.
