Default Project 600zilla - LS2+T56 350z swap

Build thread time.

2006 Nissan 350z Base 6MT which I am still DDing until all parts and plans have been acquired. Here are a couple pics of the car:

Don't forget to talk trash about the tail lights, wheels, grill, and the rest of the car, if you have the need to. Most things are getting replaced.

Here is a sneak peek at the big pile o' parts:

Will post up more pics as more stuff arrives and progress is made.

A/C will use the Nissan condenser and dryer and custom lines. The controls will run off of the stock BCM. I'm sticking with DBW and will be using the GTO pedal. Fueled Racing Performance in Arizona makes the kit.

It's some knockoff CF rear hatch I bought from a guy in So Cal. Asuka maybe?

I'll put together a list eventually. All I know is I've spent somewhere north of $20k on the car in the past 5 months and still have some ways to go. I don't want to know how much I've actually spent.

No way. It's getting completely rebuilt with a mechanical LSD and 4.08 gears. The stock open diff is horrible.

Thats what I was hopeing to hear! I think the 4.08 is a good all around gear choice as well. Keep it up! cant wait to see more!

RPF-1's are a huge step in the right direction. Looks so much better.

Looking forward to the build, should be a beast.

Update: Still waiting on the last of the swap kit (redesigned headers took a while). Just ordered 1200hp axles, various solid bushings, and 4.08 diff gears. Been travelling a lot for work so no time to wrench at the moment.
