turbo manifolds
I got an 04 gto ls1 I have a rear mount turbo setup and i want to go to a front mount I dont have stock manifolds I have long tube headers. So my question is what manifolds would i use for a single turbo

If you dont care about keeping the a/c, I would use truck manifolds facing forward and down, with the manifolds cut down and v bands welded on. Then use a turbo that is ok with a 3" downpipe such as a Turbonetics TC78 and route the downpipe over the passenger manifold. It really tough in a GTO to use factory manifolds and use a downpipe bigger than 3" without some surgery. If 650rwhp is ok, this is the ticket. If you insist on keeping a/c you can use C6 Vette manifolds too but the flanges are kind of a pain to deal with and will leak if not done right or changed to v bands. I havent personally done a single on a GTO but I did do this one with twins.

I got your pm but please just post here. It will help the next guy and everyone else can chime in as well.
Yes, you could use a stock passenger manifold, route the pipe under the car, put a truck manifold upside down and forward on the drivers side, then merge the two into a T4 flange. This would free up some room for the downpipe, however the space gets pretty tight trying to then get two pipes past the steering shaft and rack. Ive seen the battery relocated to the drivers side to free up room over there for a turbo also.

When i built mine, i used two truck manifolds facing down and forwards with vbands welded onto the ends in place of the 3 bolt flanges.
HOWEVER, if i were to do it again, i would use the above, c6 manifolds facing forward and the turbo mounted in the same location i did before. Also, i would use 2.25" pipe rather then the 2.5" that i used originally.
Heres a few pics of what mine looked like.

C6 manifolds are the c6 corvettes, 2005 to current i believe. Any who, jump on ls1gto.com and look in the forced induction section, their is a sticky at the top with all the turbo builds on that site, its all GTO's and lots of good info. But id def read before posting, lol.
Im pretty sure their is one guy that linked in the sticky that used the GTO ebay kit.
Also, LS1Nova's build is their and its 100% top notch quality with good pics.
