Would you prefer a 10.1 383 lt1 or a 9.5:1 sbc 408?....I have both turbos, and stock lt1 already.

Whichever one has better parts inside. Turbos would spool basically the same between those two engines. 408 has more hp potential due to more displacement and lower CR.

Camaroz28.com is the place to seek out hard core LT1 info.
There are a lot of guys over there that love there LT1's and make big power with them.
If you want to make the LSX guys mad just remind them that the LS1 is a updated
version of a small block Ford motor.... it's true!
