Yes, it would be a good set up. Just like the MANY other setups that are running this same turbo and are easy to find using the search button.

Here's one just a few posts down.

Here's another one on the third page.

Here's another.

Just search man

I just posted a dyno of one. It took me less than 3 minutes to find using the search button. Stop being lazy and expecting everyone to spoon feed you. Nevermind, the vid has been deleted. But the point still remains very valid. The info is out there, you have to find it.

I agree about searching, almost every setup that one can think of has already been done, and searching can find it. However, I will offer up my personal experience with this turbo/ engine combo from a few years back:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/forced-in...nning-now.html

I never had it dyno'd but I ran it once at the track and it went 132mph in the 1/4 on 10# boost. It still had the original open rearend so the short time and ET weren't there. The car weighed 3140 with me in it so you can do the math on the power it had at 10# of boost.

I guess to add to your original questions, the engine was an original 5.3 w/ 160k miles, LS6 cam and springs, stock LS1 intake, TH400 trans and the turbo was the S475 w/1.10 T6 turbo.

It'll work well if in front of an auto. I'm thinking of using a S475 on my 4.8L in my truck this spring.
