Default truck pcm w LS1

I need some help.
I have an LS1 in a Porsche with truck PCM and harness.
I have upgraded the PCM to LS1.
The engine starts and runs for 3-5 seconds.
I have switch the TPS, ICV and a AFM from a running vehicle.
No changes. Starts but does not run more than 3-5 seconds.

Where should I start looking?

Also new are the MAP sensor, coolant temp and intake temp sensors.
Only using foward O2 sensors.

So VATS will allow the engine to start but not run? I thought it would have dissable the start from the beginning!

Interesting!
You know VATS is enabled when engine starts but dies.
I have done several swaps and they always do that, start and die. A few only crank and don't start.

anybody have a 2003 truck print? Or pcm pinouts?

I believe it was a 2003 4.8 harness and pcm.

Try going to www.lt1swap.com . They have the 2003 truck pin outs (among many others) and it's free. Great site!.

Isn't there a inline resister that I can bypass in the Harness?

These are the PCM pinouts from a 2003 Avalanche. They are the same as the 4.8L.
If the PCM/engine came from another truck, there may be differences but only a few.

The VATS must be disabled via a tuner only. On trucks the VATS run command is via the databus from the trucks bcm. It does not have a hardwired vats circuit..

We found out what it was! Tuner never flashed in VATS.

610 PCM can not be used on manual cable trottle bodies. Only on drive by wire TB's.
411 boxes are for manual TB's. We switched boxes and BINGO!

Porsche 928 w LS1 has started up and will be on the road as soon as we can get a plate on it.
