What's a good 3" resonator?
LS1 swapped Nissan 240sx.
Current exhaust is 1 3/4" headers to 3" collectors to hi-flow 3" Y, out to a single 3" Magnaflow. It sounds amazing when I'm on it full throttle, but part throttle and driving around town is starting to bother me now. It's a good bit raspy at low throttle/rpm's.
I just want to put a small resonator between the Y and Magnaflow to cut down on the raspiness. What are some good ones?

A resonator won't really help as it's a straight through pipe. With out cats or a y with a flowmaster style merge your best bet is to squeeze in another small muffler somewhere. I'm not that familiar with the exhaust layout on 240's so maybe someone else will be able to make a recommendation.

I replaced the resonator in my LM at one point with medium powerstick and it didn't sound much different. Added in with the Magnaflow it might help but the 14" is only made in a 2" in/out and the shortest 3" in/out is a 16" body.

You might consider throwing a powerstick in there, but install it against the grain.
Not trying to contradict what '00 Z is saying, but I know for the GMMG guys it's killed their rasp. Hell, you already have a great merge, and the powersticks now have a true 3" center section, so no necking down like a Sweet Thunder.

Classicchambered.com
I went to that website & sweet thunders. Classic Chambered is the only one that has a true 3" inside section, with a 3.5" OD; Could fit that anywhere. Sweet thunder DOES neck down, however.
From their website: In this basic group of chambered mufflers, the inner baffle tubes are the same diameter as the inlet and outlet. However, 3" inlets and outlets come with 2½" inner baffle tubes.
Anyways, what sucks (for me) is Classic Chambered makes a true 3", but NOT in stainless. Sweet Thunder makes them in stainless, but with the smaller ID....
