ok so last night me and my buddy were having a garage night, working on the lifted bronco and the ls4. decided to go get something to eat really fast, then this mustang 5 speed comes up and does a ricer fly by. it was someone i knew. so he said lets race , like anyone else i was down. 3 honks and we went, he got me from the 0-60, then from there i was catching a lot of ground and passed him like he was tied to a tree. we did it 2 more times after that and the same outcome happened. then when we met up at the gas station i asked what all he had done to it, he said a short throw shifter, borla exhaust, and a k&n intake....i dont know if its me but i think those mustangs are kind of over rated.

I would think a 3V car should be a good race for an LS4 car once they get moving, but anything can happen.

Good kill used to rape the old gxp's the slow 3v was tuned with xpipe cai. Stock i could see a gxp edging a 3v out.

eh, probably a v6. My buddy had a 06 GT with an Elanor Body kit and heavy *** wheels with just a side exit exhaust and a tune and he walked a GXP with intake/exhaust. GXP's stock are down a few tenths/mph over a stock 3v.

I know the 2v 4.6's are slow as ****. But the 3v 4.6 is no slouch. They run mid 13's in the 1/4 with a good driver. Frankly, I'm surprised you won. He must not have been shifting that well. But nevertheless, good kill

You are full of crap if you think a anywhere near stock 3 valve is gonna walk a LS3 equipped G8 GXP. I've personally seen a GXP run a 12.9 stock, same day I ran my 12.8 / 1.9 60' when I was full boltons.
