Default M12x1.5 to 1/8NPT Steel Adapter

My existing brass temp adapter is weepeing coolant. Can't tighten it anymore, as I'm afraid to break it. I broke one before even after being warned about how fragile they are, so I want something stronger than the EQUUS brand. I believe someone makes one out of steel. Anyone know who makes/sells it?

Thanks,
Andy1

The one from S&P doesn't specify the material it's made from.....better be a real good quality piece for that price ($18.49).

Price is $13.53, plus the cost of a reducer.....but I'm not complaining.

My brass adapter uses a crush washer. After some surfing, I see some brass adapters use an O ring seal, so perhaps it doesn't need to be tightened as musch as the crush washer version. Anyone use the O ring version?

I just used a 1/4 - 1/8 adaptor and ran the metric die over it. Have to make sure you don't go down too far with the die so buy 2 should be less than $3. Been in use for 3 years now and no leaks.

They have a CAD drawing for that part on line.

If it is drawn to scale then it looks like the pass through hole is 5/16 inch.
