G Body Swap Crossmember Question
Need some help I'm gonna be using a new style truck 4L60E with removable bellhousing. Has anyone used this an is the mounting length the same as a 700R? I planned on using a Jegs double hump crossmember part number 41051 if I can.

Now if I can't find out if I can use standard location motor mounts with bpr headers.
I started a project like this a few years back with a LS2 from a GTO an using a set of EDL6701 mounts the motor an the GTO coils fit perfect!
How much room I had behind the passanger side coil

Good deal I was thinking merv used the actual brp ones an heard they moved the motor back. I'll be ordering the mounts now from eBay an order the headers tomorrow. I agree I don't like the slip collector but I don't wanna waste $300 on a set of f bodies an them not fit

Yup I used the normal SBC-> Ls Conversion Plates, Mounts in stock locaton on the Cradle, stock Clamshells.
Here is a pic..
I have the 1 78", 3" Collector BRP Longtube Hedders, there are a couple spots where they are close, but they clear. I installed both Hedders from the bottom, took about 3 min per side.

Hey Merv did you use a actual AC Delco fuel fiter or did you go with a cheaper version? Oreilly offers 3 different ones from $20 for a Microguard, $46 for a Wix or $112 for the AC Delco
