Default Td's...Yes i read the sticky

So I am purchasing td's from a buddy of mine. He is going turbo on his caamero and no longer needs the td's. So i am purchasing them. However i want them to go out the back in stock location so i would like to see pictures and maybe cleareance demesions on an under the axel set up becuase i dont have the funds to do over the axel at this point. Anything would be a great help.

I've made custom under the axle before. Clearance won't be good no matter how you do it. There just isn't much room to work with.

The X and header collector is lower than the pipes under my axle. The pop can pic is my lowest point. Which isn't bad at all clearence wise.

Well im just gonna be running 2.5". I bought a custom setup already. That dumps before the axel. Just have to do thd under axel part now with tips I made. My car is stock ride height and I never plan on lowering it. Plus weekend cruiser.

Since you don't plan on lowering, you can probably pull it off. Some dummy tips would do you much better and cheaper in case you changed your mind on lowering.

If you're going under the axle, I'd fab in a way to disconnect the tailpipes after the mufflers, or if you ever need to drop the rear, you'll have to drop the entire exhaust as one piece.

Yea I plan on having a 3 bolt flange welded on each side so I can do that. Ive seen and read a bunch on that and never thought about it till I saw it on here. I dropped the car off at the exhaust shop this morning. I cant wait to see it all done and hear how it sounds. Should be getting it this afternoon.
