Default C5 vs C6 harness setup?

Hey,
Trying to decide between the C5 and C6 harness for my BMW Z4 swap. I want to run electronic throttle (thus why I'm using Vette vs. F-body harness) but have no idea which would be the better setup.

Is there any advantage to one over the other?

I'm looking at using an LS2 intake for the 90mm TB, but will stay with the older LS1 injectors (will rewire the injector harness) availability and options.

I'm not concerned with the 24 vs 58 tooth crank wheel as I can swap wheels as need be.

Besides the harness and ECU, does the C6 have a TAC module like the C5? I looked on eBay and the C5 TAC modules are near $500!

Thanks,
Chris

Get a truck harness and PCM, Tac and pedal all from the same vehicle. The harnesses are pretty easy to do.

Was hoping to use the Vette TB since they are easy to get in 90mm.

The LS2 does not have a tac module. The vette LS2 is 58x and all throttle functions are taken care of by the ECM. FYI, even the 24x LS2 engines did not use a TAC Module. You will need spacers for the fuel rails if you are going to try and run an LS1 Injector with an LS2 intake and fuel rails. Why not just run an an LS2 intake with LS2 or LS3 injectors. They willl flow more than LS1 (unless we are talking aftermarket injectors here).

I'm planning to use aftermarket (SVO 42lb) injectors, as the long term goal is around 500rwhp.

So if the LS2 does not use a TAC module, that almost seems an easier install.

Take into consideration the ECM. If it's an auto trans, you will have to have a TCM. [T42, T43??].

Like mentioned, do the early PCM and a TAC module, and make life easier!

Call Jon @ PSI, and he'll "git'r done"....
