Anitfreeze leak fromthe back of the head, What can it be, Please help!!!
So I just putted the heads back on the car after valvespring and lifter change LT/ ORY, (for very soon cam), AIR removed, and when I started the car, antifreeze is leaking down from the back drivers side head runs all the way trough the bottom of the Transmission, it was mixing oil with coolant as well, I took the driver's side head off and cleaned it it and installed it again with new bolt and gaskets and started it up again and the same thing happened, What can This be, is frustrating doing extra work for same result???

Crossovers won't put coolant in the oil.

Yea if it was just a leak I would have said the same thing. Leak plus coolant in oil...to me that is either head gasket or the back of the block is cracked. I would lean towards gasket not sealing, maybe warped head?

run a leak down test but i agree, block or head gasket... hope its a head gasket
Thanks for the responses, I will have the car lifted, I will run a test and check with a mirror or something to see where it comes from, Im sure is not the gasket because i did it twice with new gaskets, but if it's the head maybe that would be the excuse to get aftermarket ones, if it's the block I don't wanna know. I have my fingers crossed.

Well the first time it was the gasket and then I took the head off and cleaned the old gasket material with acetone, and it sealed good, then I putted back but that coolant bolt was loose, I changed the oil, did the pressure check and checked the oil and no mix , I tighted the bolt and no more leak and the pressure stayed the same (no psi loss) so lesson learned, pressure test before anything.

The one on the back of the head, the bolt was loose, the coolant seal where this goes: http://texas-speed.com/p-2268-gm-ls1-coolant-seal.aspx
