I would recommend you look at our PRC aftermarket 215 or 227 heads depending on what kind of power you are looking for. We have had great results with those heads and I think they would match up well to your cam. If you have any questions feel free to PM or give us a call up at the shop!

Chris, you having a budget in mind, a pair of ported 243's (LS6) heads would work really well. Maybe have them milled to bump compression. That cam is an absolute dream to drive and makes awesome power. I was one of the first people to have that cam, it should start to get popular.

I you have an LS1 motor with the 241 or 853 heads look at Advanced Inductions "high compression" porting option. I don't have track times yet but I was only 1.5 car lengths behind a 06 mustang m5 that made 493rwhp on ~10psi with race gas from a 30-130 roll. If I hadn't of hit the rev limiter in 3rd it could have been a tie. Power under the curve is where it's at and not so much peak up.

Thanks for all the help guys. Im still getting all the pricing info down then gonna buy the parts one at a time now a long with that im doing reaserch as well I read an article on AFR website and it said something along the lines of my year model (2001) has a problem with the oil in the heads at high RPM's and that itll siged up under constiant load. Can anyone explain this please?
