Default What's next?

I have a 95z with 130,xxx on the clock. The car put down 298 and 315 at the wheels with longtubes, loudmouth, cai and a tune. I have at MAX $1500 to spend on it now and I think I want to either spray it or stall and gears, although not sure how much the 3.73's will help since it has 3.23's already. If I spray it I would stay conservative at a 100 shot and do it safely.

Don't really have a set goal in mind, but I would love to have a low 12 second car. I don't do the track often which is why I figured the gears and stall would be more fun for a street car, but that extra 100 horsepower is tempting.

I would be open to a cam as well but doubt I can get everything within the budget and the install scares me. I would do the nitrous myself but I know the gears and stall would need to be put in by someone else.

That's easy. Stall and gears. You'll EASILY shave off half a second. Those two mods should be a no-brainer.

I would do stall first, then gears...or better yet, 6spd conversion lol. You might break something with nitrous and you can only use it 1% of the time or less...but that's just me.

Thats funny cause you only need more than 50% throttle about .5% of the time.

What do people think of the Circle D converters? I want a 3200-3600 and for gears I would go 3.73's. What about the tuning? The guy who tuned my car no longer does LTx cars but is a really good tuner so I would hate to have to switch to a different tune.

For gears is the Thunder Racing package the best option for the money? I want the 10 bolt to be as reliable as possible

I know a couple places here that can install the gears for pretty cheap and are highly recommended, but what kind of price will installation of the converter and trans cooler be?

Circle D makes great converters... i used their 3000 stall on my 08 Sierra ext cab 5.3L
took .3 seconds off my 1/4mi time.

looking into one for my Camaro now.

So last night I talked to Chris from Circle D and ordered my converter. Now I'm wondering what transmission cooler to get? Any favorites? And for the install, I know of a guy that will do it for 250 and 50-100 for the cooler, decent prices? Or is it simple enough I can do it in the driveway?

like everyone said, stall and gears. Believe me, you will notice a difference with the 3.73's

try to get some good wheels to shave off those 60 times, if budget allows.
