Default All black? Or black with lip?

So My 9.5 zr1 rims were painted all black. And I like the look. I have black markers, and currently a black hood, although that will change. I ordered 17x11 for the rear, black with a polished lip. I decided to strip and repaint a front wheel to see how it would look. I'm undecided. I have them currently painted gloss black again, but I'll have to make a decision when my wheels come. What do you guys think?
Currently-(car is dirty, tires dirty, bad picture)

And my other option.

I like it, but it doesn't go with the theme. Also the lowering springs are on the way, I know it's pretty high up front.

The reason it doesn't go with the theme is because black rims on a blue car is probably one of the worst combos when it comes to contrast, just isn't there and having all black makes it worst. However, if your going to choose black anyway, it would have to be with a polished lip.

Well I'd prefer silver wheels, I just don't know if stripping the black off of the new ones will look good. I don't know the finish beneath the poweldercoat on the oe wheels

But, of it's just decent looking aluminum, I'll strip them when they come tomorrow.

With the color combo of your car I say all black.

All black. 17" with a lip for some reason makes em look smaller. Im planning on powdercoating my rims black when i start tearing em up.

Yea I know, it's just these were banged up
And looked better black. I'm wondering how bad the finish of the metal is under the powdercoat on the OE wheels. I'd love to run all silver with a polished lip.

If you've ordered the wheels but havent mounted them, why not just exchange them for silver? Or you can always ask OE Wheels what the finish is.

I would have to agree with the above posts, black on NBM looks... not great. Polished, Chrome, or Gunmetal would be the way to go.

I'm trying to figure out something similar, but I'm looking at just black or silver (no black with silver lip). Maybe it will still help if you look here:

I wouldn't say it doesn't work. I would ultimately prefer gunmetal centers, but the black ties together with the sail panel. And while it's not a great choice for contrast, it does look much better in person.

I say do gun metal. zr1s stand out more when they are chrome, polish, or gun metal. all black has a dirty look and I know.
