Default 93 T/A motor isues

So I have a 93 lt1 t/a, when I bought the car it ran fine. Now a few thousand miles later I've had the same issue twice. When I start the car it idles around 500 when it ran originally around 900. When I give it a bit of gas it starts to choke its self and starts to sputter and back fire from the intake. The first time I had the problem I was unable to find it.. after getting frustrated I gave up for the night went back the next day and it fired right away and no more problems. Now its back and I would really just like to fix it. I have no clue where to start look.

edit: it gave me a code 15, which is a low temp at engine coolant sensor.

Yeah, I've been told timing before, also have been told it could be a fault sensor. My service engine light is on and I hooked it up to a scanner. But sadly it wouldn't give me codes or allow me to clear them. Which really sucks...

I've never done any real work to this car yet, so the I can't give you a definite answer but chances are the real answer is no.

If I were to take a video and upload it to youtube would any one maybe be able to help a little more?

Pulling codes is simple, just jump the a to b port with a wire. To clear them just disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. Try a search, pulling codes on 1993 Camaro.

Video sounds like classic case of loose opti rotor.
