Default two kills today one a GM one a ford

so cruising home after work in my 13' 5.0 and i notice this black 5th gen ss weave a few times to escape traffic and start speeding up ( i was coasting ahead of the pack, i hate just cruising with the slow moving herds of traffic around here lol)
he comes up next to me and i downshift, and we both go for it. ill give him some credit he hung with me for longer than most but after 80 i started to pull. we shut it down about 140 ( thank god for long staightaways in FL) with him about 3 lengths behind. he seemed stock except for maybe a catback. after the run gave me the thumbs up and we went our seperate ways. i like that the guy was cool about it most people around here are snobs when they lose, liek the next kill today.

got a steal on some factory svt rims for my wifes lightning, and was driving home with all four of them somehow crammed into the stang with tires on. wasnt pretty but they fit. and btw these bitches are heavy. so merging onto the highway notice this 2010 gt, (the 2010's had the 4.6 not the 5.0 i have) and he guns it after i merge, getting next to me. he jumps the gun so i figure what the hell with all this weight ill prob lose and he jumped but whatever. so i downshift and gun it and reeled him in rather quick, ending it with him a length or two behind, with a very pissed look on his face as he saw my cargo as i sailed by. he then decides to ride my *** all the way down the exit ramp i took. props to GM guys for being better sports than most of these mustang douches. and i say that as a mustang driver lol.

im in jacksonville, i live a few min outside NAS. (im navy) im mid shift and go back to work tonight thats when im gonna ask my buddy about it. ill post. it really depends on how he feels as i dont feel like going down there on my own, plus we want to run each other's 5.0's and see if there really is a slight difference as stated by ford. 2012 5.0-412 crank 2013 5.0-420 crank. and the good thing is we are both catback exhaust only so it will be an even match to determine

A close friend of mine recently purchased a Candy red '13 Premium. We ran several times before I sold my car (bone-stock at the time) and I pulled him every time from a dig and roll (worse for him from a roll). He recently went 12.7@112 with a little over 1000 miles, my car went 12.41@114 last year with 500 miles. Those little 302's really get down that's for sure.
