Default Is the offset the same for 17' & 18" rims?

I am starting to look for a deal on used chrome 17 or 18" Foose nitros or a copy brand doesn't matter. I think the bolt pattern is 5x4.75? What is the offset for the f bodies & does it differ from 17 to 18.What is the preferred tire size for either w/o hitting? I thought I read somewhere the offset is positive like a fwd car? Thanks in advance. Brian.

The height doesn't matter. Offset and wheel width are the important things. The sticky in this section shows it

^^ What he said. Offset will depend on the width of the wheel, and how far in/out of the fender you want it to sit. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but offset will not change between a 17 and 18 unless the width is changed.

Btw, 5 x 4.75 is the correct bolt pattern

If you want all the same do 17/9.5 you can run a 275 or 285 on it without an issue
