paint or buy new interior plastics
I'm wanting to change my tan interior to ebony (black) and am wondering what is the best way to go about doing it. I want the panals to match the existing black panals that the car has (dash, pillars, headliner and other misc parts) NOT trying to go for the race car rattle can red panals! Lol shooting for the closest OEM look as possible.
So my question is do I sand down the panals and paint them with a matte black and if so how'd yours turn out?
Or start looking for "parting out" posts and piece together the whole car slowly?
Saving money is great but if painting panals wont look good or just plain obvious that it was done then ill stoop down and shell out the cash.
Post pics if possible

painting interior pieces usually doesn't work too well in my experience, although I did some of my trim pieces in black with base/clear polyurethane and it came out pretty good. I have seen dyes that work pretty good, though. I used to have a corvette and I once got a spray on dye to return the faded plactic pieces back to original color. Eastwood company might have something that works. If you use the right product and do it right it can work and look good. I wouldn't use spray can, though. Just my thoughts on it.

wrapping something with curves will leave you with suicide thoughts half way through the project... I've been doing a lot of wrapping lately, I'd never even consider doing the entire interior.
