320dw/340aero/walbro400?
tired of searching, sculled me if you must.
i have a 550rwhp car that i believe has maxed the 255w out. i plan on makin over 600rwhp when im done with my setup and want to upgrade my fuel system.
wich pump would be best with out adding a second pump on hobb switch, or redoing fuel lines? (if possible)
will they support up to 650rwhp boosted?
and can i use my racetronix hot wire with them?

stock trans am fuel feed?
its to my understanding you should drop in a 2nd 255 and replace the feed line with something larger, 3/8ths or 1/2 inch and then run a regulator return system.
and also upgrade to a larger wire to the tank for more power to the pumps

Yes all stock lines.
I think to use the 400 i have to upgrade my fuel lines .
I have the hotwire kit hookedup too the 255w. Id rather depend on 1a pump than a secondary pump on a pressure switch

Aeromotive seems to be the top performer tho I personally don't like the brand. Also an amp hog. I would not use this pump with factory wiring.
The DW300 is unfortunately priced as much as the Aeromotive which sucks, but I like the 3 year warranty... and it sounds to me like something you may prefer as well.
Since you would not disclose the existing set up I will only make recommendations.
Run one pump full time and one triggered, and each year rotate the wiring to the full time pump.
Don't "T" the pumps together.. you wouldn't do exhaust like that.. same principles apply here. Try to use a nice Y block.
Use the factory wiring to trigger a dedicated relay for the new pumps with a dedicated chassis ground (not to tank bracket or tank).
Make sure the pumps and their socks have some room below them to pick up fuel. Don't smash them against the bottom of the bucket or tank.
Use band type hose clamps, not screw style.. they can cut the hose and lead to failure.
That covers just about every problem I've ever encountered. Solid electrical connections and avoid the generation or insulation of heat.
Also don't use these Fake Walbro Pumps

walbro!
idk much outside of imports. i just recently purchased a 2011 camaro ss.
but there is a company(buscher racing) that makes whats called a "double pumper". only for evo's though.
its a drop in fuel pump assymbly that houses two walbro 255's(or bigger)
if someone makes one for you're specific vehicle that'll probably be more than enough.
they easily hold 700whp on e85 in evo's. and cars tend to consume e85 30%(i believe) faster than regular gasoline.
but the walbro 400 should be enough for what youre wanting to make =)
