Default Caspers Electronics TPS enhancer?

Caspers Electronics TPS enhancer
Anyone know what this does? WTF is "power enrichment" (PE)? Does this fool the ECU in to thinking you are at WOT when you are not? [not sure what that would do]. Is it a patch for a defective TPS?

Doesn't matter what it it, a properly functioning TPS is
all you need on the hardware side; PE mode entry is not
something you want to mess with all by itself, there's a
fair bit of related stuff in the tune that you want to get
right and a dongle isn't going to help you. All that plug-on
crap is just voodoo wallet-lightening.

had one on the car for 7 years, didn't notice any difference after installation.
Removed it last year as throttle problems occured and problems went away after I removed it,internal circuitry must have gone bad.

spoofs are sometimes all you could get with platforms with no tuning support. marginal if any gains were typical.

LS1 f body have plenty of real tuning options from tune yourself , to hand helds , to local/regional tuner(dyno tune) to mail order tune from reputable tuner/members here such as Tuning By Frost

Maybe we need an "Ultimate tack-on Thread".
You know, someone (besides me) should buy all the snap-on, stick-on and click-in "performance" accessories on one car. Anything from the electric turbocharger, intake swirl enhancers, to the fuel-line magnetic molecular aligner / descaler things. There's "worst engine" & "worst transmission" threads. How about worst/"best" stick-on performance accessory?

best thing you can do to sort out "mods" like the ones you mentioned is learn some basics of efi tuning ( advanced tuning and engine management is a great read for about $16)

this will give you some theory of how everything works on a modern engine.

for example :

all the gadgets that claim to save on gas with magnets ,platinum ,etc... cant work on any system with feedback from oxygen sensors ( o2's) when operating in open loop which is any time your warmed up to temp and not WOT (PE that you mentioned above) your 02 sensors report back how much oxygen is left in the exhaust stream and if its numerically greater than stoich ( 14.7 to 1 for gasoline without ethanol/14.1 with) the lean data from the o2 sensors will trigger the pcm ( computer) to add more fuel until the ratio of oxygen is what is expected in the exhaust stream.
