Yes cause Ford is gonna run what they call a Track key "Off Road" use only key that when inserted into the ignition will switch to the track tune.So if Jon Lund successfully came out with this first.Then you see how it could present a problem

Yeah Ford annouced the "RED KEY" in 2010 and came available in 2011

If you search the forums for the John Lund ghost cam tune you will also see alot of hits for blown engines as well.

It actually does. Alot of people tried to do it and had no idea what they were doing and they drove like ****, but it sounded cool

From what little reading I did a while back the 6 speed cars could have the tune no problem, however the auto was unable to drive or had a really hard time.

I don't see any difference between this ghost cam tune and a loud exhaust. They are both sound "enhancements" chosen over a tamer alternative.

Thought I also read that the red key wasn't available for California? And that it wouldn't lope until the engine was up to a certain operating temperature?
