Slobalt vs WS6....few expletives No vid but had to share.
A stockish lookin TA pulls up behind me. After a few hi speed blasts he yells out t-top. "Sooooo wtf is a slobalt?" So we laugh & I yell thank u for notcing cause no one ever does.
We have a few more runs. With me pullin away hard each time.
Next light convo goes like this as he pulls up on my side:
Him: what the fuckity **** do u have done to that thing and how much $ into it?
Me: u wont believe it, like $400. Just a dp, smooth inlet and tune.
Him: god damn u pulled away hard in that little thing
Me: i suprise a lot of people.
Him: **** i want one damnit...im gona look into them and pick one up for a daily, that thing is just wrong
Me: prob find a used one for 16k and only 09 came 4door turbo
Him: nice.....then he peels away.....lol
Short story but it made my day. Guy was cool. TA was clean and had to be very stock.

And then some...lol. I need to take one out of the stable for work this winter... bigger turbo, fuel system, and suspension. Can't really play with the other one in snow, boost creep is a monster on a 35r...lol

Not sure of year, he was intereted in the balt vs me asking questions. Im assuming he was stock. May no have been. Cobalt wpuld stick with most stock ls1 from a roll whn i was gms1.
Was a clean, blue, prob 99-01, ws6.
Stock wheels stock exhaust, stock tires, etc

I raced a silver Cobalt awhile back, his license plate said, "Slobalt". Definitely had a few extra mods in there. We only got to do 1 or 2 roll races, but both times he pulled on me. From like 60MPH to 110MPH and he was about 1 or 2 cars in front of me. Cobalts can be quick little sleepers.
