Default 3600 converter with 10 bolt

Tried to search, had no luck. At 360 rwhp and stock 10 bolt, would it be a horrible idea to add a converter? Keeping in mind that adding the converter will mean DR's to hook up. Car will hardly ever see the track. Thanks for any opinions. Please only replies from people who have owned a car with this setup!

I just swapped out my 3200 for a 4000 also. Been saving for a 9in for a awhile now, so I'm not to concerned if it breaks or not.

Past setup-Yank SS3600 / 4.56 10 bolt / Nitto 315-35-17 Drag radials-no problem. Currently Yank SS3600 / 3.23 10 bolt / Nitto 315-35-17 Drag radials-no problem.

i had a 10 bolt with 373 gears and a yank ss 3600. car made 480 on nos. went 10.9. lasted a while but i did go through 2 sets of gears. if u dont plan on putting drag radials on it you should be fine for a long time.

3600 and stock 10 bolt here, pulling both front wheels 6-8 inches with 1.5x 60's for three years now. Probably 100 pass's at the track. 10 bolt has welded tubes to center, solid pinion spacer, Eaton posi, and rear cover.
