Ok mines a 96, so I should be good to use synthetic if I want. Or did some LT1's have auburn? My cover was just the plain jane GM 10 bolt. No factory SLP on the car.

Ok thanks. Its my fault I just realized I never said what kind of car it was. I kinda wish it was an LS, but I love the LT.
Kind of off the topic of gear oil. I was told a limited slip has some cluth disk and springs in them but a posi just has springs. When off the ground a posi will spin both tires the same direction and a limited slip will not.
Mine has no clutch disc in it but the tires spin in opposite directions. So I would still have a limited slip right?
Heres the only pics I have now. I don't know it will help any. They may not show up I've never posted a picture before.
