Not really wanting to change it just didn't know if this would really hurt with auto vs m6 that's all and it's more of a weekend type Car. The car made just under 500n/a on a loaded dyno as is with m6. Just didn't know if anyone knew or had a better option or would this work fine

you should be able to make more power than that! especially with such high compression and the extra CI, theres stock cube ls1 guys making 500rwhp.

You may want to have pat G spec out a cam for ya, may make better power and be more useable.

Your number sounds a little high on ls1 power most I have seen with afr heads and a pat g cam was 460-470rwhp with out dropping a **** tinning money them . Keep in mind I amnon a mustang dyno which reads 6% lower and I have unported stock heads and intake and my numbers are with avg amount if timing, we added more timin and kept pickin up more. every degree added 8 rwhp even past 30* so I know I need heads and intake I should be around 550ish.

I still think you could do a little better, do you ever run pump gas or just the 110?

110 all the time as I stated my heads are hurting me quite a bit and was that a dyno jet saw corrected what was temp outside etc all has plays a factor. My session no fan 110* shop temp 10% humidity. so ya my numbers aren't crazy high but there ok considering conditions and under 3k in the engine just saying nothing crazy and I know the numbers would be higher today's 50* weather

Oh I understand, but man with that high of octane and compression it just seems like it could be better. If you dont change cams you should consider having the heads touched up just a bit.

Just spoke with pat g and he said that its damn good power on a honest dyno with stock ls3 top end on a 6.0 and he would just do heads. Said cams bigger than he would recommend do to street manners but if I can live with that dont change it

the trick flow as cast 220 heads are also some really great bang for the buck if you ever consider it... they can also be ported out more later on too

We don't race dyno's. Track numbers are the real story.

I'd have the ls3's ported as well as the intake. If you change to cathedral heads, factor in a fast intake or something similar. That drives the cost up as well.

If you stick with the ls3 setup, call Geoff@eps. He seems to have the ls3 style cam profiles nailed down pretty good.

I don't think Patrick wanted to hurt your feelings. That's a pretty horrible cam from my experience with the L92/LS3 heads.

I see a smaller cam with less intake duration making more power.

From the many cams I've run it appears the sweet spot on the intake side when using a composite intake is between 230 and 234 degrees.

Just my $.02
