Well, i installed my Short Stick today, On my own , might i add. This is basically the first mod i have done w/out anyone watching me. It was really easy though. Took her out after installing it and man, i can't wait to open her up and slam some gears, especially third.

I installed one with my Pro 5.0 shifter. I love it! No one should have to drive with the stock shifter and handle!

do a search, in the manual section there is a guy who did a comparison (with pictures) between jarrod's and lou's short sticks. VERY informative
