What about bikes
It may be idiotic to ask this but I see all the races people post and some I have to say are quiet awesome but; what's everyone's experience with bikes? Guys stick to 2 wheel cuz its too much to get a car that fast, or so they think.

ive been taking down 600's lately , my record is 6 and 1 with them , no video cuz they creep up on you randomly and give you the biker stare down , and when you beat them its very nice , some drop back but most give you a thumbs up
but every time ive taken on a 1000 ive been handed dirty, its a good goal to beat a 1000, but takes alot of horsepower i figure i need at least 750rwhp and a little weight reduction

And I don't think of them as posers so much. Most people get bikes because they're fast, enjoying riding it is biproduct. At least that's how it happened to me and most of my friends.

Poser factor = 100%
Bro 1- Hey bro I bought my bike because it goes fast!!
Bro 2- Well mines faster
Bro 1- no way
Bro 2- let's run man
Bro 1- ok but after we go pass by the mall and hit the limiter a couple of times
Bro 2- Ok but let's hurry up so we can go ride down the middle of town in 1st gear at around 10k so we look cool.
Bro 1- Nice
This is a repeat until one of them gets hurt and the group sell the bikes.
Seen it time and time again.

Lol ok that was good ill give you that, made me laugh but that probably is true most of the time. I got mine cuz it was fast yes although I didn't do some of that I did race around with my friends to kill time while going somewhere. But then I started to like the feeling more so than the speed. Such a free feeling and open air. One day I was cruising around and someone pulled out in front of me and I only missed them by a few feet. After that I gave it up and continued with my camaro

Wrong section, and there is a huge difference between a poser and a rider.
The guys you see on dropped and stretched 600s wearing tank tops and sunglasses zipping through lanes are posers and squids, who usually buy their first bike just because they are fast. They usually end up scaring themselves and selling it, or wrecking the bike and totaling it within a year (or worse).
The guys with full gear and helmets doing the speed limit no matter how fast their bikes are and how hot it is outside are usually true riders, who have ridden for years and genuinely enjoy it. They won't waste their time racing most cars because they know it takes ridiculous power for a car to even hang with modern 600 from anywhere under a 50mph roll, and are out riding for fun and to commute.
I can't count how many times I've been ricer flyby'd both by bikes and cars on my 14r. Everything from hondas and v6 Mustangs to Gixxer 600s and fat guys on old ragged out busas. I just laugh in my helmet and keep riding.

What section would this belong in. Its street racing so I thought this was right, sorry. Seems like this subject switched to a poser or not thread. Not my intent to start a brawl or such. I was just wondering of anyone has had much success.

Without ~600rwhp you're not beating a properly ridden 600 from the last decade all things being equal...let alone what it takes to beat even a bone stock literbike.

I raced a gsxr 750 a few weeks ago. He gave me six cars and the go. Caught up to me at 130, waved, and then took off with his feet hanging off the bike like superman. I've got 20k in my car altogether. He traded a truck I was gonna buy for 4k for it.
We did another race from a dig, no lengths were given. We were even til about 45 and he destroyed me after that.

My only true encounter with a bike was in this vid (GSXR 750). It wasnt a clean run because the lanes merged and he let out for a second, but I definitely think I would hold him off or pull up top. I don't know the rider well.
60-130 ish

Yeah I just watched this. Doesn't seem too bad of a race. Either the vette left on the wrong gear or was burning out or the 600 doesn't have much top end power
