Haha no u really don't, I had to spend about an hour grinding my factory hood latches where the hood bolts up to even get it like this.... if I could take it back I would go through rivet at us exotics in a heartbeat... save yourself the headache and spend the extra 200 bucks and get the real deal, not a counterfeit ripoff off Roger

Yea the grilles are in there now.... They aren't put on all the way, I just set them there to give the idea of howit looks. I didn't feel like putting them on until after I got the Hood painted

Lemme see a pic of the hood latch. I got an email from Roger today and I have to rig the hood latch a little bit to make it fit. He sent me the picture and I just couldn't grasp what needed to be done.

I just cut my latch handle about two inches and reattached. Works great!

I was reading some other threads yesterday (on a different site) and they were talking about the vendor that these hoods come from. "Hoods4sale", or something. Apparently, 2 people that bought their hoods had the bolt holes in the hood strip out and the hood took flight while going down the highway. I haven't seen it personally, but if it were me, I would consider using some hoodpins (yes...ugly I know)...or atleast inspect the inserts where the hood bolts to the hinges.

Idk how it's gonna work though, I've never installed hoodpins before and the 2 kind at autozone were rivets type for the hood and Idk how well a rivet will hold up on fiberglass
