Building hotside S475 T6, 2", 2-1/4"or 2-1/2"?
Well I have been gathering parts: shortblock(L33), heads(ported dual valve springs), turbo (S475 T6 1.32 AR),intake,80# injectors, wastegate, oil feed and drain for turbo and now Im starting to build the hotside. I have truck manifolds with flanges to weld to, T6 flange for turbo to weld to and now I need to decide on pipe size. 2", 2-1/4" or 2-1/2", originally I was going with 2-1/2" but with the T6 turbo and large AR 1.32, I'm thinking 2-1/4" may make more pressure and allow quicker spooling? Just want you guys with experience to help me out so I can go buy some pipe and get to work. I know either one will work just looking to get some opinions since this is my first build from scratch. Also what size for the cold side? Im going to have all the pipes coated when done and Ill post pictures of the progress. Thanks

I couldn't find 2" 304SS tubing, so I went with 2-1/8" for my S475 build. The compressor outlet on the S400s is 4", Im not running an intercooler, so it was an easy decision for me to run 4" right to my 102mm TB.

I'm fabbing my hotside right now and I'm running 2 1/4" for my cross over.
S475 96mm T6, cam only LM7.
Also 2 1/4" is the prefect side fit in each side of a divided T6 flange. Just flatten two sides, tack it in, then dolly it back out. It's almost a perfect fit.

Any pictures of the flange to 2.25? Just curious how your doing it? I'm debating have a blank flange done with 2 2.25 holes, is that possible I don't have all the parts in front I me or measurements?
