Default Back up camera

Here is where I am mounting the back up camera.

I am still deciding on the front camera and mounting.

I mounted my rear camera under the rear bumper.
Got the camera on ebay for $16

Is your camera a wide angle lens?

Wide angle, night vision.

For the front, I may drill a hole in the plate as I have a CS plate holder.

On the radio face I have a three position switch:

1. OEM data.
2. External VGA input (computer)
3. Force camera (same as reverse sense but you don't have to be in reverse).
This gives the rear camera priority use of the display and your backup lights don't go on so people don't know you are watching.

Then I have a push button switch which selects in order:

1. VGA input (this is switched between the computer or OEM data)
2. AV1 (front camera)
3. AV2 (rear camera)

Then there is a 1/8" hole for the IR sensor.

This is for the remote that allows for display adjustment and duplicates all the functions of the "switch strip" for the display.

I hide the strip behind the face as you don't need access, but it needs to be connected.

It looks pretty stealth.
