Question Carbon Fiber Firebird

does anybody know any companies that make custom carbon fiber companies that will make custom panels and pieces for cars? i have a 1995 firebird and my eventual goal is to have all carbon fiber body panels. as of now ive only been able to find a sail panel and a hood, but not the hood i want, which is the ws6 hood. i found a company that makes custom carbon fiber pieces for motorcycles, but im not sure if they would make automotive body panels, especially some of the larger pieces. i also thought about contacting a know carbon fiber company like seibon about custom order parts. any thoughts or suggestions? By the way, i am aware carbon fiber isnt cheap, let alone custom carbon fiber

If I recall, Halltech does alot of carbon fiber and I remember when they came out with their hood they mentioned they used a custom shop. You should call them and ask who their carbon fiber shop is (Somebody in Wisconsin who "made the Pratt and Miller C6.RS body panels") because the work is top notch.

I always figured you could give VFN a call and have them lay in carbon fiber instead of glass on any of their panels they make. honestly not sure what they do make already.
it wouldn't be show quality of course but there are easy ways around that.

Yes, a good friend of mine has already done carbon for folks here as well as a lot of other cars such as R8, GT-R, etc. I had him do a lot of parts in my old C6 as well. Email tom@g3carbon.com

Now that I'm finally back in a house with a garage its time to start my own fab stuff. Got a serious question though about carbon.

What happens to a carbon hood during a front end collision? Fiberglass can be made with enough flex so it will crumble and break apart. Metal will bend and crumple. But what does carbon do since its so stiff?
