did you already remove the window motor? If not, you can just connect the window switch back n for a minute, and roll it up. And if the motor has been removed already, just pull the window up by hand carefully, and have a c-clamp or something to support it up.

the old motor is still in there, and i can't get the window to budge when i try to bring it up by hand, but that's when i try to push it up from that bottom left hole or whatever area. and nothing happens when i push the button. and this is on the drivers side btw.

Did it go up and down just a little bit before you started, or did the window not move at all?

maybe the missing spring is not allowing it to go up. Try removing the window motor first and then you should definately be able to move the window by hand. I just replaced my window motor yesterday and the window was able to move around after i drilled out the rivets.

i'll have to look at it again. the window is not wanting to move around at all. and with the window being down, there is not much room to maneuver at all lol. will it help getting the motor out if i removed the speaker?

if the motor is off, will that allow the regulator arm/window to move you think?

removing the speaker definately helps. I dont think id be able to do it with the speaker still in place. Itll give you access to the bottom most bolts when you install the new motor.

As for the window motor, the window should move when you remove the motor. The shaft that sticks out of the motor locks with a rail that moves the window up and down. Just make sure the window is supported for when you drill out the motor. Even though i dont think the window will fall without support, its just extra precaution.
