For the SDCE spring tensioner guys
So I finally got around to mounting the head unit and setting the SDCE spring tensioner today. As we all know the tool they provide is a POS, so I decided to make my own. For the first time EVER I set the tension my self and didn't scratch the blue procharger ID plate . Hope this helps you guys out with your SDCE set up. Here's how it turned out...
I moved the bolt you use to set the tension to the other side of the tool. So now the tool doesn't want to fly off the front of the spring when prying over on the bolt. I also used a 7/16 bolt so you can use a 5/8 wrench VS the 1/2 wrench SDCE uses.

It's a shame the tool they give you sucks, it the only thing I've ever had a problem with. The rest of the SDCE bracket has been great for the last 7 years of my procharger set up.
I still have 1 more tool if any one else is interested, and I have enough materal to make 4-5 more.

Not many people would be willing to engineer a better mouse trap and then give it away (especially at less than cost).
SDCE has already seen this I bet and I'm willing to bet dime to a do doughnut that newer set-ups will include a tool that mirrors yours.

The price will have to go up after these 4 go out. I'm out of the free to me steel I've been using.
