Default procharger problems

My friend is having issued with his procharger and is to the point he just wants to sell it dirt cheap. It definitely sounds like a tuning problem. One day it runs strong the next day it falls on it face he says. Anyone have similar issues with their procharger? He says it has been tuned by multiple ppl and they all said it was the supercharger giving problems. I say bs.

Belt slip, bypass valve no closing all the way, boost leak...

I would look over everything and make sure there isn't a mechanical problem first and then question the tuner as to why he thinks its the prochargers problem.

Tell him to stick with it. Check for boost leaks and like conan said, check the mechanical s. Mine should be producing around 10lbs but im only seeing around 4. Tighten everything up and was good to go. But now every time i get on it, the crank bolt loosens, so now i dont know what is going on

if he is not willing to check anything or attempt to fix it, then he prob should get rid of it. Maintenance and boost go together like peas and carrots.

a good tuner is above all else a great diagnostic technician. Need to take it to someone reputable who can log it and tell exactly why the damn thing is studdering. could be as simple as a sensor. could be something else. good luck.

You need to key the crank pulley.
