Outrageous Dealership price?

Outrageous Dealership price?
So I had my Camaro towed and fixed, needed and alternator, and the shift forks for 5th and 6th were bent, or so they said, and the synchro gears were thus all but gone, and my total is $4480? Does that seem at all reasonable?

OP
when you "point & pay" vs doing the R&R yourself, especially at a dealer, expect to pay high $
for example you could buy a alternator for $100 and if you pulled your tranny you could have it rebuilt for $1k (more if you needed "everything")from:

dealers typically provide very detailed receipts noting what they did (or at least charged for). parts = $x, labor = $x???
