Default WTB Bare 6.0 block

I am looking for a stock bore 6.0 block or a block that will clean up to a 4.010 bore. Iron or Al doesnt matter. I am in the San Deigo/LA area. I would like to find something in the San Diego / LA area. However, I would do shipping if the price was right.

I looked at those blocks before but I need a 4.01 bore. I also like to do my own machine work, its not that I dont trust other places to do the work. Its just that I am a STICKLER for machine work and the way it is done!

How bout you see me in THE MACHINE SHOP, using a SUNNEN Hone to achieve a 4.010 bore (plus of course the correct expansion clearances for a forged piston that was cryogenically treated and coated) .... I know its CRAAAAZY right! Then again if I REEEALLLY wanted to I could use my SUNNEN micrometer hone with a drill to hone the block to !!!!!4.010!!!! Of course with the correct torque plate.

Yeeeessaa maaasssta me knowwss how ta machineeess partsa too......

BTW: CK10?.............nice name drop. If there werent ....ohhh about 10 different other machines more than capable of achieving the proper dimension, cross hatch, and surface finish.

BTOW: It doesnt matter what the machine is, a shitty machinest with a !!!!! SUNNEN CK10 POWER STROKE !!!!! vs. a skilled machinest with a old school hone and a clue... the skilled machinest wins everytime!

I have a bare block. I had a lifter go bad and take a small chunk out of the lifter bore. I was going to have it machined, but I stepped up to a LS3.

Block is an aluminum L76 out of a 09 G8. Make me an offer, I'll let it go for cheap.
