Default RIP my lil 6.2 stock short block

This lil 6.2 stock shortblock been threw alot of passes 2-3 days a week testing all last year and alot of testing this year.

Best all motor no gas 1.29 6.07 112 9.63 137

Best nitrous mph 153.7

Best nitrous et 8.84

Now to figure out what to build !

WILL BE LS BASED FOR SURE

I'd find out what went and took it out and replace with some better "stuff"...add some compression to another 6.2 with the upgraded parts.

So...what went ?

A piston or rod for sure. What all did it take with it?

rwhp i dont know

piston broke rod stayed intact with the stock rod bolts also

reason piston broke is i have hit the rev limiter a few times by accident 7500 and alot of passes

timing was low enough there wasnt no signs of detonation

It takes better than 785 RWHP to run 8.85 in a 3000# car, so you were cooking it!

Find another 6.2 and throw in some forged pistons....back in action

i just bought a 2013 6.2l that needs pistons. i plan on spraying it. who make a good piston for it

I used to abuse the hell out of J&E in my GN and in my BB Buicks. A lot of the nitrous guys like Diamond pistons.

i want to use the stock rods. are aftermarket pistons to heavy for stock rods
