s10 money pit
ok so i havent made a page in here, but i have used this site for alot of info! heres the story...
i had a 98 s-10 i drove to and from college that i loved, but it was a 4cyl 5-speed, one night on my drive home, a guy decided to plow me @ 55 i was at a stop...
so that truck was toast haha so i started searching for a s-10 i could pick up cheap since my motor and trans was still good along with alot of other parts i could salvage from the black truck, mind you im still in school at this point and trying to keep it cheap! so i end up finding a sonoma that was a roller for $1000

when i drove it to my wedding the 4L60E was mild built with red clutches, beast sunshell, upgraded PROM, corvette servo, and a 3200 stall converter, the motor was a 07 5.3 flex fuel motor with a L33 cam, new rings, new bearings, honed, decked the block and heads, LS6 valve springs, LS1 intake, current performance wiring harness, trans am PCM with VATS removed, switched the open side differential with a torsen zexel carrier and richmond 3.42 gears, i drove it like this for a little over 700 miles, started to beat on it a bit and it was no where near fast enough, so the plans have changed a bit, and a daily driver has been thrown out the window and the wife just shakes her head........ its a slow project due to have bought our house and now have a baby on the way, let me know what you all think any feedback is appreciated!!!

i still need fuel pumps, to rewire the whole truck, two 6665 turbonetics billet wheel turbos, wastegates, blow off valves, hot and cold side piping, ford 9" rear with 3.08 gears,
ill be running E85 and play on the street and track, i will eventually cage it down the road when the turbos are done and its driving lol

it would have to be a manual valvebody on the 80 also, i hated my 60E ever since i put it in the truck, if i had the cash id honestly put a lenco drive in it and be done forever, when i was a kid my dad had a pro mod camaro, that ran 6.20's @ 220-230 mph and we used a 3 and 4 speed lenco depending if we were 1/8 or 1/4 mile tracks, we only spun a sprag once, cant beat them lol and what id give to have some polished levers sticking out the tunnel haha
