Default New Build - critique it for me!

Hey guys,

Well unfortunately I had a lifter collapse in my LS3 motor this past weekend. So I've decided to move forward with a forged bottom since we've basically gotta pull it out anyway.

Currently the car has the following:

D1SC @ 9.5LB Boost
LS3 Stock bottom end
Alky Control Meth Kit
Twin Walboro fuel pumps

I'm looking to utilize my stock bore size and crank.. Wanting to move forward with a cam swap and the bottom end rods / pistons though. I'm going to leave the heads as is for the time being, this is purely due to financial constraints.

Let me know what you guys think, I'm looking to make around 750-800 RWHP once all said and finished. The car is currently making 650RWHP on the current setup:

Texas Speed LS3-B Blower Cam - 114 LSA
Precision Race Components 650 lift springs
Texas Speed hardened chromoly push rods
Texas Speed Ported LS3 Oil Pump
Clevite H Main Bearings
LS7 Replacement lifters
LS2 Timing Chain
New Lifter Trays
Diamond Pistons Dished -12.3cc (NEED SOME INPUT HERE)
ARP 12-pt. Head Stud Kit #234-4317, All Short
GM 6.2L MLS Gasket Set
Cometic LS1/LS6 Intake Manifold Seals
Center Bolt Valve Covers
LS2/LS3-Style Valley Cover Gasket
ARP Balancer Pulley Bolt

Also looking for some advice on forged rods... Is there anything else that I am missing? I want to make sure that I have the set complete when I take it over to the shop.

Thank you all for taking a peek and providing suggestions!

Id go with a good Ibeam rod or you could do callies compstar rods if you are on a tighter budget, wiseco pistons at whatever would make 10:1 compression. The stock crank is fine to 1,000.

I wouldnt put stock lifters back in it and I would spring for Cometic MLX head gaskets and trimetal king bearings.

You are quite misinformed here... the stock crank easily handles 1k HP... and I'm not looking to get anywhere near close to that.

Thanks though!

750-800 RWHP: that's what was stated how much fly wheel hp do u think that will + up to ball park # over 900fwhp you can keep the crank.... if that's what you choose ....Me if I have that much invested believe me a stock cast crank ain't any where near my main caps & ARP main studs. You've spent $$$$$ every where except for the part that carries the whole thing....650rwhp is a far cry from 750-800rwhp.650rwhp adds up to around 740-715FWHP...800rwhp=FWHP over 900
you can get there but at what expense....Cast crank with well over 12psi to get 800rwhp from a 6.2......Think about it.....and get back to me...
