I had my 243's milled to 60cc and the machine shop said they milled them .020. So that would be .005 milled for 1cc I would say a rough guess is that your heads were milled approximately .045.

after thinking about it, and seeing those pictures of what people cut to make a 4150 work on their f-body, i really dont want to do that, is there any other options as far as a long runner style intake that will still fit under a stock cowl and hood?

usually around .007" per CC. Your stock heads are about 64cc. Subtract 53cc leaves 64-53=11. So the missing 11cc mulitplied by .007 = .077.
But that just doesnt sound right. Sounds like too much. So I adjusted my guess to .060. That'd be .0055 per CC. .0055 x 11 = 0.0605"mill or "60 thousandths".
I also adjusted the guess down because Robsz28 got .005" per cc. But If Rob is right and its only a .045" mill, you should have no problem running your LS6 intake on them. I'm doing it right now.

You you can use a rough .006 per cc but as the chamber goes horizontal you'll begin to suck up more cc per thou in the mill.. give it a shot as far as plastic goes you'll probably have issues with the locators on the intake, mill the intake face on heads and you can get it done if you dobt wanna chop the cowl
