Skinniest tires on stock SS rims?
Whatd the skinniest tire i car run on the stock 02 SS rims? I have 275 all around, but want to go 275 ET streets in the rear and something a bit smaller in the front. Will 255/45/17 work?
Any help is appreciated!

255/45/17 would not be a good choice, since it's 0.38" taller than the 275/40/17 that you'd have in the rear.
On the other hand, you could use a 245/45/17 up front, and that would only be 0.02" taller than the rears - which is imperceptible. 245 is really the most narrow you should go on the stock 9" wide wheels.

I got 9 inch fronts with 245s and they are stretched too bad they are completely flush with the wheel as id like. I would say 245s on 8 inch thats what i had previous. What looks killer is the ss wheels narrowed and widened so you can run bigs and littles, i like the ss wheels.
