WANTED:Straight 6 power steering parts for 71 Nova
Looking for power steering pump, brackets, hoses and power steering gear box for a 1971 Chevy Nova with a straight 6 cylinder. I think 68-74 Nova,Camaro,Monte Carlo,Chevelle and El Camino,Olds F85,Buick Skylark,Pontiac Tempest will work.
Hoping one if you doing a LS swap will have something laying around? Or want to trade for a manual steering box? PM me with what you have and asking $?

I think part of the problem is most guys scrap their 6 cylinder stuff assuming it is not worth any thing. If I was looking for power steering brackets for small block Chevy I'd be done by now!

The other part of the problem is that most 6 cylinder cars of the day were cheap stripper cars that didn't have power steering, where as the more optioned V8 cars usually had it. Are you set on a factory set up, or are you just wanting power steering to make a driver more driveable? I see newer non integrated set ups at the salvage yard from time to time, but people don't usually want them because they are not "correct" for what they're putting it on.

Bought a box w/pitman arm today. I have a lead on a early 70's GMC/Chevy truck w/ a straight 6 power steering set up just waiting for the temps to get above freezing so I can go pull it. Thank for the help ls1nova71.
