Default Switching from c 16 to q 16

long story short, ive been running c-16 through #42 green top injectors for quite some time, made great power,( but im on a motor tune, i dont have a turbo or super charger). c-16 is for turbo-supercharger or big nitrous

im going to be running a 150 shot of nitrous which means some timing will be taken out so im thinking of going to q 16 as it makes more power at lower timing as well as burning faster and having oxygen in the fuel...

i have a stroker motor, nice compression, i cant say much more than that because my competition looks at my posts on here.

its as simple as draining my tank adding q-16 and getting a re tune right? my current #42 green tops are no where near full duty cycle now, so shouldnt be an issue...

any input appreciated

You will probably need approx. 10% additional fuel as long as your fuel system has the added capacity.

Remember this stuff can be tuff on the fuel system. Not sure I would leave it in the car long term.

yup the MTBE is harsh on fuel parts.. look on the bullet, most everyone running it after a race is draining the tank and flushing it.. smells like **** to lol.

Na you will pick up power and as you said you need more fuel because of the oxygenation.

Nitrous You can use it, but will make the tuneup more difficult and finicky.

im running 42# svt green tops that if i believe were at 80% duty cycle, i still have some room to bump up for the q 16 right?

is the q 16 really that much more harsh then the c 16?

The injs I've cleaned, that are used w/ Q, are not usually "nice".
@80% now, you don't have a lot of head room.

Care needs to be taken when using q. It needs to be fresh out of a unopened can. Sitting in the tank for more than a day or so and it will be junk. I would find something different for fuel.

dont do it unless you upgrade to a bigger injector....
you are already at 80%... its just pushing it too far to be useful

you will need closer to 8-10% more fuel, and your tune up wont be as forgiving as c16

you will need to clean the injectors OFTEN with q16...and you will need to flush out your system after every race day

once the stuff is in your tank over night, it needs to be thrown away...its no good past about 12-18 hours....

and expect it to gum up everything...
seriously, be ready to clean out your fuel system OFTEN with q16

oh, and dont get it on your skin... that **** causes cancer..LOL

Might want to just try the fuse unleaded 116...if you want the oxygenated effect just up one more jet size...
