Heads and cam are where you need to make the right decision. The better the heads, and the right cam the easier you will have it getting the results you want. Look around at peoples dyno numbers and track times. I did that and found a pattern with the fastest and highest dynoing cars. I was looking at twin turbo stuff only. They were 90% cam speced by the same guy. I would suggest an A2W intercooler.

For the power you're looking to put down I would at least start with the FIC 1000cc injectors. Contact these guys and discuss your options: http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/shop/
Some guys might suggest ID1000s, but the ones I mention above are a good alternative considering the price difference.

3582r's are probably the best all around set of twins for a 6-speed car IMO.
Run the 402 at 10-1 compression, or close. .82 a/r is what I would use. I would prefer a stock LS3/LS7/LS6 intake manifold, depending on what heads you decide to go with.
Assuming everything is built correctly, mid to high 220's cam and it will be at 700+rwhp easy on 10psi. 800+rwhp at 13psi and above that I would run race fuel and it will be 1k+.
Vertical flow intercooler like you plan to run has the least amount of pressure drop but doesn't cool as well as horizontal flow. If it was my car I would build/get a nice horizontal flow with a big garrett/precision/bell core.
I agree with the FIC 1000's. I would run twin intanks just because I don't like the noise of an external pump. (I wouldn't run a fender exit exhaust either). Just my preference.
