Default ls3 vette vs mach1 and 2012 ls3 camaro

just traded my 2010 camaro with cam , boltons and 150 hit for a vette. im gonna put the same setup on my vette . vettes a auto and i havent got drive it much yet or know how to drive it but learned a little after the races. i just left it in d and didnt touch the tc cause i basically forgot to do it.

the mach1 i dont know the mods but i think bolton and i know a 75 hit. he pulled the knock sensors too. it helped it alot lol.
the camaro and mach raced and camaro by 2 cars maybe. then i raced the mach1 . i did terrible driving . i dont know the car and i didnt change anything, i just kicked it and he was gone for a sec.

same thing with the camaro tho. i pulled it by a car or 2 . used s mode this time, but didnt touch anything else.
then got bitch at and now know what ur suppose to do when roll racing a auto car lol. but hey first auto car ive ever owned and just got it like a week ago and its rained and snowed since them .

Need to get that beast over to Bobby @ KY Speed and let him do some magic! Nice kill, and you'll be much better served with the new Vette! PTW FTW!

bobby's alrdy on the works. he helps me alot. he got my camaro breakin hearts.that ol 5th gen was never beat by any n/a mustangs. it raced alot of them too. bobby and mark are the only 2 that i trust to work on my cars. they are very trust worthy and do awesome work. plans are 3400-3600 stall. big cam for ls3. boltons and 150 shot.
tht should put it makin pretty decent power and pull hard.

Dallas Texas. Just picked up my Dewitt's Radiator and Spal fans from Bobby this week! He's been on point! FYI, the Dewitt's and Spal setup is a must when you start adding power your Vette. They get hot in traffic fast!

i'd roll race that vette the same way i roll race our L99 5th gen. put it in sport mode, downshift on the paddles to the gear you want, when the race starts after you mash it, push the shifter into "D" then slide it back into "M (or S)" and let the car shift for you.

that'll make the car take off like you're a manual (no kick down) and then shift the rest of the race like an automatic.

Thats pretty badass for the auto guys. Roll racing must not be any different from a m6.

well, you have to have it in the "M" or "S" mode with the shifter (on the camaros it's "M") then you can tap the paddles on the back of the steering wheel to manually go through the gears. Once you floor it in the preferred gear, all you have to do is slide the shifter up to "D" which puts the trans back into "automatic mode". Then I always pulled the shifter back down into the "M" position because since we had the transmission tuned, the shift firmness and points are higher in that mode. The only time the car will shift manually by the paddles is if you are in "M" mode AND tap a paddle. Otherwise it'll stay in automatic mode and use that program's set firmness and shift points.

nope not at all! i can leave just like an M6 and then let the computer do the shifting. Best of both worlds IMO
