Default Intercooler on 97 Trans-am

Hi.

I am planning out my mods for my 97 trans-am and one of the options is to go with a Procharger.

However, the 97 body style does not have any grill openings for an intercooler.

What intercooling options do I have if I want to go with a procharger?

Would pulling air from under the front bumper work, or will I need to consider meth as a charge cooler?

Thanks

Air to water with a heat exchanger in front of radiator or laying down in front of the air dam

Thanks for the advice guys.

I'd have to look at my MY trans-am without fog lights, but I really like the way it looks now.

I will have to look at the other options posted up.

You can run the 3.5" intercoolers which are included with the Procharger kit, go with a FMIC or air to water shoved somewhere convenient. What are your power goals? I put down over 700 to the tire on those baby intercoolers but have since upgraded to a big FMIC.

HP goals are always hard to define. You always seem to want more!

Realistically, I think 550 whp is what I am aiming for.

Take a look at our '95 Formula which has had a ProCharger P-1SC on it since 2003.

The twin intercoolers that ome with these kits work very well. If you want to see acopy of the installation instructions, send me an e-mail to brutespeed@gmail.com and I'll e-mail them back to you.

Here are the three kis that are available. Give me a call for better pricing. Bob
